A transition to Digital Learning....!!!

Online learning is definitely more effective option for students of any age.Having said ,the current trend of online classes offer great benefits, which are not right for every student.

Schools across many countries have closed to slow the spread of coronavirus, but teachers are still working and trying to connect with students, even toddlers as young as two years old.

Schools and colleges across the world are rolling out to online classes.But those without the means of a computer and internet are being left out. In many countries the virtual education system is not for commoners.

There are many valid questions that come up with digital learning which the schools /colleges haven't thought of/might have thought but ignored....!!!

For example, how do you think a financially struggling morning news paper seller afford to experience this digital learning???

Just for the benefit of the education system, is it a good decision to make such people realize their poverty?

why din't the colleges/schools arrange the required learning equipments for the students who cannot afford to have/buy a computer to continue their education?

Do teachers have a proper facility of computer equipment with internet provision and a webcam for an effective training?

The list goes on and on with no answers by the end.....!!!

Well, until the COVID'19 war comes to an end, try and see if you can share the equipment with your co-students who cannot afford and discontinued their classes. Lets not discriminate them.They might be bright students who are willing to pursue their education.so instead take the initiative and help them continue their education.

You may also think for more ideas on how can you help them.There are many ways if you are willing to help.Share the class training content with the ones who cannot join the online classes/explain in brief what you learnt in the classroom sessions to make sure they dont missout on any.Its all in our mind on "How willing are you to help".

Go social and master your thoughts if you can help them in any way!!!!

Well, let us checkout the advantages and disadvantages of the same.

Online classes are no easier than classes offered in the traditional classroom setting and in some cases can be even be more difficult as it depends upon the student/trainee's attitude and willingness to learn.

It is a flexibility challenge, due to which many students prefer online learning to traditional schooling and they are able to work at their own pace.

Students in a proper classroom training may not get the personalized attention they need to have their concepts clarified.While in this concept of online trainings/classes the Student-Instruction time will be effective.

Online classes need intense requirement for self-discipline.The major benefits of online course is it is affordable to learn.

Reduced Costs:

Unlike regular classes, it saves the student's energy and time spent in commuting to and from school/college for their regular classes.

Self-Paced Learning:

Students have the freedom to plan their studies,career and school as they aren't tied up to a fixed schedule.And they will start planning their day, where time management skills of the students improve as well.Yes studying online requires self-motivation By studying online, the student can choose their own learning environment, be it a bedroom,living room,sitting in the lawn or a cafe that's located across the street.

Don't you think it is an amazing opportunity to plan and learn in your desired environment?

Well....if given a chance, I would love to create my learning environment, opting for online classes...!!!

In this way children ensure to have the best decorated room, which helps them to proactively start setting up their own room and make sure to have a fab background.Now.... having discussed on few benefits now its time to know the drawbacks of the online classes.

• Disadvantages are as below...

• Intense requirement of self-discipline.

• No face-to-face interaction with your fellow students or the facilitator.During the live sessions it might be even more difficult for the facilitator to analyze the level of understanding of all the students if the strength of the class is a lot for the facilitator to handle.

• No student facilities such as laboratories, libraries, although some study institutions have virtual laboratory experiments, arts and crafts and so on..

Every facility that we enjoy and get comfortable with has to be justified at the end of it.Lets try to get benefited out of the facility instead of mastering in misuse of the same.
